what is Wildtree?
Have you never heard of Wildtree? Until 2013, I hadn’t either. Here’s a little back-story on the company that I have grown to completely depend on for getting quick, delicious, and healthful foods on my family’s table.
Based out of Rhode Island, Wildtree is an all-natural food company that was found by Leslie Montie, on the premise that food should be simple, healthy, natural, and easy to prepare–all at the same time. Years ago, she had no idea that she would one day start a company…at first, all she wanted to do was make dinner. Her kids had dietary restrictions, so opening a box of store bought mac-n-cheese wasn’t an option. She needed to create meals that were nutritious, delicious, unprocessed and easy to prepare. Mostly, she wanted to make dinners her family would love. She made it her mission to help other families with the same struggle and with her parents, founded Wildtree in 1999.

So instead of using preservatives, additives, MSG, or dyes, Wildtree products are made with the finest natural, GMO free and organic ingredients available. Instead of ‘good for you’ foods with all the flavor of sawdust, Wildtree products are taste-tested winners. Instead of lengthy, complicated, time-consuming recipes, Wildtree products enable you to create spectacular, great-tasting dishes with just three or four ingredients. Wildtree maintains a peanut-free facility and thoroughly tests their products for safety, nutrition, taste, and ease.
But here’s the REAL kicker. 🙂 When you choose to let me help you with meal planning and use Wildtree to make those meals simpler and healthier, you are choosing to simplify dinnertime on all fronts! Day in and day out I choose to help other families with mealtime because I am passionate about helping moms create space in their life–space for family, space for fun, and space for relaxing. As a busy mom, myself, I am well aware of the high standards we often hold ourselves to and, truthfully, dinnertime is one of those standards that often seems so unattainable on so many angles–get your veggies in, eat organic, limit how much sugar you eat, eliminate processed foods, eat at home–AGH!! SO.MUCH.NOISE. Meal planning and Wildtree have helped me to quiet that noise and I LOVE helping other mamas do the same. <3

Make Ahead Freezer Meals (hold the ‘Cream of XXX’ Soup!) – Perfect as a base in your weekly meal plan. I usually prep 10 meals each month to have on hand and we’ll use 2-3 per week.
Make Fresh Meals – Sets of 8 recipes, all under 600 calories each, using a bundle of Wildtree products. These are meals that you’ll prep the day you plan to cook and eat them. Think: Spinach & Artichoke Calzone, Asian Wings & Coconut Rice & Creamy Chicken Soup. I love using these as Friday night dinners (on nights when our kitchen isn’t closed!) and Sunday afternoon meals.
Make Fast Meals – Super quick, go-to meals that you can whip up and cook in under 30 minutes with ingredients you MOST LIKELY have on hand. These are perfect to plug in on nights when you are crunched for time, Plan A didn’t work out, or you just want something super simple that you can pull together with your eyes ALMOST closed.
